At times, you may need to quickly view all of a family’s appointments, such as when a parent wants to know when their children are scheduled for a series of appointments or when you are trying to schedule appointments for several members of a family on the same day. Dentrix provides you with several ways to view a family’s appointments.

Additional Tips
- To view the reasons for an appointment from the More Information dialog box, click an appointment on the Appointments list.
- In both the More Information and the Family Appointment List dialog boxes, click the name of a patient in the family to see that patient’s appointments, continuing care information, and treatment-planned procedures.
- Once a patient is selected, the following features apply to appointments and treatments listed in the Family Appointment List dialog box:
- It displays upcoming appointments that the patient is scheduled for and continuing care for which the patient is due but does not have an appointment — denoted by “[No Appointment]”.
- It displays past appointments and past continuing care — denoted by an asterisk next to the date.
- It displays the patient’s treatment-planned procedures. A question mark denotes no scheduled visit, and an asterisk denotes a scheduled visit.
- To view an appointment in the Appointment Book, select the appointment from the list and then click the View App. button.
- To schedule a new appointment, select the patient and click the Create New Appt. button.
