Setting an Appointment Complete

Topic Progress:

Throughout a typical day, your practice will see many patients, most of whom will have their procedures completed during their appointments. To keep current with your work, you decide to set complete each patient’s appointment as quickly as possible. And for your practice to realize earnings, the appointments must be correctly completed in Dentrix.

Additional Tips

  • If additional procedures were completed during the appointment, double-click the appointment to open the Appointment Information dialog box and add those procedures before you post/set the appointment complete.
  • The Change Provider menu lists the providers that are attached to the appointment and the patient’s Provider 1 and Provider 2 in the Family File. If you need to assign a provider that is not listed, you can click Other and select any of your current providers.
  • When you set an appointment complete, the appointment block’s color changes to gray in the Appointment Book.
  • You cannot set a new patient’s appointment complete.
