Scheduling a Continuing Care Appointment from the Continuing Care Module

Topic Progress:

One of the best ways to keep your schedule full is to schedule appointments for patients who are due for continuing care procedures. With the continuing care module, you can generate a list of all such patients. Then you can use it to schedule appointments for those patients.

Watch this video to learn how to schedule a continuing care appointment from the continuing care module. (Duration 0:46)

Additional Tips

  • When you open a new appointment from the continuing care module, Dentrix automatically sets the appointment date to match the patient’s continuing care due date.
  • When you move an appointment to the Pinboard, the Appointment Book automatically advances to the continuing care due date as the starting point for your search for an open appointment time. (This helps to satisfy the continuing care interval requirement.)
  • When you open the continuing care module from the Appointment Book, the list displays continuing care information for the whole practice. Opening the module from the Patient Chart, Ledger, or Family File only displays continuing care information for the selected patient’s family.
  • To learn more about scheduling a continuing care appointment from the continuing care module, read Continuing Care List View Options in Dentrix Help.
