The first step to tracking how well your marketing campaign is working, or being able to identify which patients refer other patients, is to enter that information into the Referred To and Referred By features in the Family File. The Patient Referrals dialog box allows you to view every referral made by a patient, as well as any source that referred a patient to your practice.

Additional Tips
- Another way to access referral information for a specific patient is to double-click the Referred By or Referred To blocks in the Family File.
- If you are referring a patient to another doctor for a specific procedure, create the referral through the Patient Chart rather than the Family File.
