Do you work with a Dental Health Maintenance Organization (DHMO) or a capitation insurance plan? Correctly calculating insurance benefits for a DHMO plan requires a different setup than that of other insurance plans. This topic demonstrates two methods for setting up a coverage table for a DHMO plan.

- Note the following when you attempt to apply changes to an insurance plan:
- Change Plan for All – All changes made to the existing plan’s information are updated for all subscribers who have this same insurance plan in Dentrix.
- Add as New Plan – Copies the plan’s information and creates a new insurance plan in Dentrix, without changing the original plan.
