Using the Dentrix Perio Chart, you can record many perio measurements such as probing depths, gingival margins, clinical attachment levels, mucogingival junctions, bleeding and suppuration points, etc. The Perio Chart also includes automatic calculation formulas, which expedites the charting process by eliminating the need to measure multiple indicators.

Additional Tips
- You can enter measurements using computer keyboard shortcuts. To learn how, read Entering Perio Measurements in Dentrix Help.
- You can enter probing measurements greater than nine millimeters in the Perio Chart. To do so, review the Dentrix Help topic, Entering Measurements Greater than 9 mm.
- Sometimes the gingival margin is above the cementoenamel junction (CEJ). In these cases, you should enter the gingival margin measurement as a positive number. To learn how, view the Dentrix Help topic Entering Positive Numbers for Gingival Margins.
- If you want to edit or print a previous exam, you must open that exam first.
- The Perio Chart features Undo and Redo buttons to assist in correcting perio measurements when conducting an exam.
