One of the easiest ways to post treatment in the Patient Chart is by the using procedure code buttons. You can customize these user-definable buttons so that the procedures you use most frequently are readily accessible.

Additional Tips
- When you post a procedure in the Chart, Dentrix also posts the procedure in the patient’s Ledger and vice versa.
- When you post treatment-planned procedures in the Chart, Dentrix also posts the procedure in the patient’s Ledger – Treatment Plan view and vice versa.
- Existing work and conditions are not posted in the Ledger because no payment is required; they are posted for charting purposes only.
