Viewing Treatment Case Status History

Topic Progress:

As you create and modify patient treatment cases, it’s impossible to remember the details of each case. Each time that you update a treatment’s case status, you can document your reasons for the update and “Case Status History” will track these changes for you. This history displays when the update was made, the updated status, and any comments associated with the update. It can also remind you why a case was accepted or rejected.

Additional Tips

  • It’s important to enter comments whenever a patient’s case status changes, to document the reasons for the change.
  • Using standard Windows table conventions, you can resize and sort the Case Status History list. For example, click on a column to sort the list by that column; or, click and drag on a column border to resize the width of the column.
  • You can update a case status by selecting New Case Status from the drop-down list in the Update Current Case Status group box. Add a comment in the field provided and click the Update button. The case status is updated with today’s date.
  • To maintain the integrity of your cases documentation, you cannot remove an entry from the Case Status History list. Instead, post a corrected status update and indicate the reason for the change in the Comment field.
