Ordering Procedures by Visit

Topic Progress:

If a treatment plan has too many procedures to complete in one visit, you can organize procedures within a case, by visits.

Watch this video to learn how to organize procedures by visit. (Duration 0:33)

Additional Tips

  • Dentrix bases its treatment case insurance estimates on assigned visits. For example, Dentrix assumes that the procedures in visit 1 will be covered by insurance first, and then the procedures in visit 2, and so forth. However, if patients meet their insurance maximums in visit 3, Dentrix assumes that the procedures in visit 4 will not be covered by insurance. Therefore, insurance estimates vary, depending on how procedures are arranged by visits.
