Setting Up Treatment Planner Views

Topic Progress:

When working in the Treatment Planner, you can set up different views to display specific information for your patient’s plan. Changing views can be helpful if you want to show your patient’s insurance breakdowns, price comparisons, or other details about their treatment cases; or, view treatment-planned procedures visually in the patient’s graphic Chart.

Additional Tips

  • If you select any of the three “View Case Detail” options, you also have the options add to greater case details to the case. To do so, select View and then select any of the following options:
    • View Case Details Only – this option displays the total cost of the case.
    • View Treatment Plan Case Estimated totals – this option displays the totals for the case, the estimated deductible applied, the estimated insurance payment, and the estimated guarantor portion.
    • Procedure Information – this option opens a dialog box where you can select which information is displayed in the columns of the panel. Select the options that you want to appear and deselect the options that you don’t want. Then, click OK.
    • Use Patient Friendly Descriptions – this option displays descriptions which may help patients better understand their treatment-planned procedures.
    • Select Other Fee – this option opens a dialog box where you can select from a list of other fee schedules. When you select Other Fee and click OK, a column is added to the panel that displays a side-by-side comparison of the Other Fees and the Fees that your office typically charges for their procedures. (To display both fees, both options must be selected in the Procedure Information dialog box, referenced above.)
