When your patients have more than one treatment option, you can create alternate cases to show them each option separately. Alternate cases help your patients understand their options. so they can make the best decision for their dental health.

Additional Tips
- Alternate cases are linked together and display link icons to the right of the cases name. Cases that are linked together display the link icon as the same color.
- You can use alternate cases to compare treatment options with your patients, such as an implant versus a bridge.
- You can create patient payment estimates for each case.
- Only the procedures in the recommended case are displayed in the Chart and are listed in the Treatment Planner List and Appointment Book.
