Do you wonder which patients owe your practice for services rendered? The Dentrix Collections Manager lets you view outstanding accounts and collections information. The list can display specific kinds of accounts and related information such as aged balances, missed payments on a payment agreement, and outstanding insurance claims.
Watch the following video to learn how to view the Collections Manager List. (Duration 2:15)
Additional Tips
- The Collections Manager List is similar to the Ledger’s Aging Report. Some important differences include the ability to choose the columns displayed and to sort by accounts with insurance claims past due.
- Changes made in the Collections Manager View setup box will be remembered on the workstation where the changes were made and remain unchanged the next time you reopen the manager.
- To make collections simpler from the Collections Manager List, you can access a phone number, open and send an email message, or create a collections letter. To do so read these Dentrix Help topics: Contacting Patients by Phone, Contacting Patients by Email, and Contacting Patients Using Quick Start Letters.
- To learn more about viewing a Collections Manager List, read Collections Manager Overview, Adjusting the Width of a Column, Sorting the Collections Manager List, Removing an Account from the List, and Setting Up Payment Agreements in Dentrix Help.
