When a provider creates a prescription for a patient, that prescription can either be printed immediately (as it’s created) or saved in Dentrix for printing at a later time.

Additional Tips
- Prescriptions are listed with the date the prescription was created, the description, drug name, and the prescribing provider.
- You can print a prescription immediately after it is created by clicking the Print button, instead of the OK button.
