Often, the default clinical note templates included with Dentrix will meet the needs of your office. But sometimes they might require a little editing; or, you may want to include additional information. You can edit a clinical note template to meet the needs of your office.

Additional Tips
- You can also delete a clinical note template. In the Template Setup dialog box, select a template and then click Delete Template. Review the confirmation message and click Yes.

- Switch to the Dentrix demo database.
(Skip this step if you are using the Dentrix Learning Edition software.) - Edit the Cancelled Appt < 24-Hr Notice clinical note template (in the Administrative category).
- Add a sentence to the template that reads, “Patient reminded that a fee would be assessed in the future for less than 24-hour notice.” Then, save the template.
