Your practice has regular hours, probably posted at the entrance to your practice or in the reception area. Occasionally you’ll need to change those hours for a specific day. In the Appointment Book, you can change your practice schedule or close the entire office for a single day. And using Dentrix to change your practice hours will help you avoid accidentally scheduling appointments when your office is closed.

Additional Tips
- Changing your hours of operation for one day does not reschedule appointments that were already scheduled for that day. Check the changed date and reschedule as needed.
- In the Select Time dialog box, you can drag the “slider” to set the time.
- As shown in the Set Time Limits dialog box, Dentrix allows you to break each day into three ranges of time. To clear a time-block in the Set Time Limits dialog box, click the search button, and then click Cancel in the Select Time dialog box.
- To learn more about changing office hours for a specific day, read Changing Office Hours for a Day in Dentrix Help.
