Viewing Case Acceptance Totals in the Daily Huddle

Topic Progress:

If you want to meet your office goals, you should carefully monitor each day’s production, collections, case acceptance, new patients, and scheduling totals in the Daily Huddle report. You can use this report to review each day’s statistics, to see if you’re on track to meet your production and scheduling goals, and to track your monthly progress. The report’s Case Acceptance section displays the total amount of treatment that was diagnosed and accepted for the previous day and the month-to-date.

To learn how to view case acceptance totals in the Daily Huddle report, examine the following charts. (Note: There is no video for this lesson.)

KPI Measurement What the Numbers Mean
Amount of Treatment Diagnosed Displays the dollar value of the treatment you diagnosed. The numbers come from the following procedures:

  • If a treatment plan case is linked to another case, then the recommended or accepted case will be displayed in this row.
  • If a treatment plan case is not linked to another case, then all unlinked cases with a treatment-plan procedure date within the given time range will be displayed in this row.
  • If a procedure is completed but not treatment-planned (has a 0 in the treatment-plan date) and has a procedure date within the date range of each column, then it will be displayed in this row.
Amount of Treatment Accepted Displays the dollar value of the treatment that was accepted. These statistics are the totals of the following procedures:

  • Treatment-planned procedures that have a procedure date within the date range of each column and are attached to a treatment case that has a status of either accepted or recommended in the Treatment Planner.
  • Completed procedures that were treatment-planned and have a treatment plan date within the date range of each column.
  • Completed procedures that were not treatment-planned (have a 0 in the treatment plan date) and have a procedure date within the date range of each column.

Additional Tips

  • Treatment-planned procedures are always counted in the Daily Huddle totals according to the procedure date and not the entry date.
  • You can specify which providers are counted as dentists and which are counted as hygienists using the Assign Providers as Dentist/Hygienist option in Practice Advisor Setup.
  • To email a copy of the report, you must have a MAPI-compliant email system, such as Microsoft Office, set up on your computer.
