Generating the Treatment Manager List

Topic Progress:

Your office may have a substantial amount of potential revenue sitting untouched in your patient treatment plans. With the Treatment Manager, you can quickly generate a list of patients to contact who meet specific criteria that you select. For example, you can use filters to find patients with unscheduled treatment plans and then use that list to contact the patients by phone, letter, or email.

Watch this video to learn how to generate the Treatment Manager List. (Duration 3:57)

Additional Tips

  • You can also access the Treatment Manager by clicking Treatment Manager in the Options menu.
  • Use the patient range option to limit the size of your list, making contacting patients more manageable. For example, run the list to view patients with last names that begin with A through J. Then, after working through that list, run the list for K through S patients, etc.
  • If you filter the list by billing type, you can select up to ten billing types at a time. If you have more than ten billing types, check All Billing Types or run the list multiple times.
  • You can use the age range filters to create a list that targets pediatric patients or other age-related patients.
  • The Treatment Plan filters allow you to seek out patients who have had specific procedures treatment planed within a specified date range.
  • You can modify the patient information displayed on the list by clicking the Show Columns button. The Show Columns dialog box allows you to choose the type of information that’s displayed and/or the order in which it displays. For more information on customizing the patient’s information in the Treatment Manager list, read Setting Up Show Columns in Dentrix Help.
