Generating the Unscheduled Treatment Plans Report

Topic Progress:

If you have holes in your Appointment Book, you can use the Unscheduled Treatment Plans report to find patients with treatment-planned procedures, which have been posted to the Patient Chart (or Ledger) but have not yet been scheduled. And because the report includes insurance information, such as renewal month and benefits remaining, it can be used to pinpoint which patients can be contacted and encouraged to make appointments before their benefits expire. You can also use it to focus on patients with unscheduled high-production appointments.

Additional Tips

  • You can select one of two types of reports to generate. The Detailed Report prints the treatment-planned procedures and insurance benefits information on the report. The Condensed Report only lists patient names, treatment plan amounts, and phone numbers.
  • The Exclude Referred TO Procedures option will exclude any procedures that were referred to another doctor. The Exclude Referred BY Procedures option will exclude any procedures referred to your practice by another referral source. The Exclude Non-Referral Procedures option will exclude all procedures except those that have been referred.
  • The Select Date Range default range is one year previous; however, you can change it if needed.
