When you update a fee schedule, there will be situations where you either do or don’t want certain individual patient’s existing treatment plans to be updated too. Dentrix allows you to update treatment plan fees based on specific criteria. For example, you can update fees when patients change or add insurance; or, you can update expired fees, while other fees remain valid. And based on filters that you select, you can update fees for individual patients or groups of patients.

Additional Tips
- You cannot update fees if a patient’s treatment plan is open on another computer. If this is the case, a message appears containing a log file with the patient’s name. If you need to update the patient’s fees, close the patient’s treatment planner on the other computer and then update the fees.
